 Mae Sa Elephant CampA 50 minute drive from home around the mountain, the Elephant Camp at Mae Sa is always a popular attraction for tourists. There are in excess of 40 elephants ranging in age from 2 to over 50. There are 2 or 3 shows a day, depending on the season, that last for 30 minutes. Either side of that you have the opportunity to ride an elephant for either 30 or 60 minutes. You can also view the facilities, including the nursery. Entrance fee is 120 baht for adults and 70 baht for children. A 30 minute ride (each elephant capable of taking up to two adults and one child) costs 800 baht. |
