Pai - Mae Hong Song trip A 2 day road trip through the remote mountain jungles (part of the notorious Golden Triangle) stopping off at Pai - the laid back hippy haunt for lunch, and then on to Chan Dao Cave with it's large fish and Buddhist shrine, stopping overnight in Mae Hong Song, located a few kilometres from the Myanmar (Burmese) border. Day two winds through Doi Inthanon National Park, containing the highest point in Thailand and home to some extremely remote villages. Over night hotel and vehicle costs are extra |
